As we dive into 2022, we wanted our first message of the year to be one big thank you to everyone who supported Seeds of Hope in 2021!
In December, we set some ambitious year-end fundraising goals. We knew these were significant milestones to reach in such a short time, and we didn’t know what to expect. However, thanks to your incredible generosity, we met our year-end goal.
“As 2021 came to an end, so many of you came together and collectively gave toward Seeds of Hope,” said our CEO, Khader Ghanim. “You made it possible for us to start the new year off with a head start and allowed us to be in the black as we closed out 2021.”
As Seeds of Hope has grown, it was common for us to carry a financial deficit into the new year. While not ideal, we were always able to make up the money and keep our programs running and expanding. However, over the last two years—truly some of the most financially uncertain years for nonprofits in recent memory—you have helped us close that deficit and start both 2021 and 2022 in a strong position.
Generosity and support like this enable us to grow and plan for the future with confidence. It directly translates to more children served by our cultural center, more families receiving food support, and more individuals getting connected to life-saving medical resources. It opens up new doors and possibilities in Jericho and beyond.
“Everyone at Seeds of Hope sends this message with so much gratitude,” Khader shared on behalf of our team. “We never take your generosity lightly, and we recognize the sacrifice you have made to help us. We’re forever grateful for you!”
We’re still fundraising toward our school expansion and hoping to share more about our exciting plans soon, but in the meantime, we just wanted to say thank you. We hope you never lose sight of the direct connection between the money you give and the life-changing impact spreading all across the world—one child and family at a time.
