As difficult as the last few months have been in the Holy Land, Seeds of Hope still has so much to be hopeful about. There have been countless bright spots in the darkness—largely thanks to your friendship and support.
We recently shared the results of two different humanitarian aid projects that you made possible to help families in need in Jericho, as well as Christian refugees fleeing Gaza. At every turn, your generosity has blown us away.
It’s because of your consistent support that we feel confident in planning for the future. And despite the challenging times, we are still committed to our long-term goals. You’ve given so generously in the past to help us expand our school and create space to keep adding a grade each year. We’re working hard to keep that growth on track and keep students at Seeds of Hope for as long as possible.
Check out an exciting update from Jessica Baboun Hatter, our Educational Program Headmaster, about what you’ve made possible:
We can’t say thank you enough for all you’ve done to create these exceptional environments for our students. And as Jessica mentioned, you helped us purchase another parcel of land earlier this year to continue to grow.
As we look toward the end of the year, we hope to start construction on the new spaces soon to ensure they’re ready to welcome our 7th grade students next fall. By building onto the second story, this new parcel of land will include enough classrooms to keep growing our school for several years and a play area large enough for our growing student body to enjoy.
While this is an ambitious project, we believe in its importance more than ever. Recent events have only highlighted how unique and vital an environment like Seeds of Hope is. We’re committed to creating lasting, generational change in Jericho and beyond by focusing on developing the character of our students and teaching values anchored in the Gospel.
We would love to invite you to consider how Seeds of Hope could be a part of your year-end giving plans. Every gift, big and small, makes a profound difference, and we’ve already had some funding come in for the project!
“I keep thinking about how fast-growing and impactful Seeds of Hope is because of the love, faithfulness, and generous support from the Seeds of Hope family!” said Khader Ghanim, Seeds of Hope CEO. “I would love to encourage you all to help us keep our children in a safe and peaceful environment—especially in light of what the Holy Land is facing right now.”
Despite the current struggles, we’re so hopeful for the future. We believe our best days are still ahead, and we can’t wait to see what’s possible.
